Your F-1 student status makes you eligible to work on campus for up to 20 hours per week when school is in session and up to 40 hours when it’s not.

You must:

Be enrolled full time

Have a valid passport

**These positions require you to have completed 12 academic credits at LaGuardia and have a 3.0 GPA before applying**

Once you have been hired, you must provide a copy of your offer letter to the ISS office at least two weeks before your start date. You cannot begin working unless you have the necessary authorization letters from ISS.
